I really had no idea until ours died yesterday....AND we aren't getting the new one installed until Tuesday! I have a much greater appreciation now for days when everything needed to be re-heated using the oven and water needed to be heated on the stove to warm a baby bottle!
Since we moved into our house we have accumulated quite the list of appliances we have HAD to replace:
refrigerator
dishwasher
garbage disposal
water heater
and we have had to do major repairs on our dryer and furnace!
I don't feel we are particularly heavier users than others on our appliances. I swear...they just don't make products like they used to! Aghhh!!
Dear air conditioner, washing machine, and range/over---please hang in there!
